Hey folks. Canadian player here.. New to the forums. I bought a Silhouette last year and would like to know the production date. Here is the serial # - G43062. Cheers!!
Hey, I'm wondering when my guitar was produced as the warranty says 1993 but I've been getting comments saying that this probably isn't correct.
Axis Sport: Serial#: G01028
Luke G44848 my best guess would be sometime in 2008... just because it was hanging on the wall at that store for a while
Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and would like some info on my EBMM Silhouette Special. The serial number is 96483 and I bought
this guitar quite a while ago in my hometown of Perth, Western Australia. Firstly I'd like to know the production date of my guitar, the name of the colour (I haven't seen this colour on the EBMM website anymore, it's like a metallic wine red or burgundy type colour, real nice) and what wood is used for the body, alder or ash? The neck and fretboard appear to be Birdseye maple and I see only normal hard rock maple being used for current silo/silo spec necks. The locking tuning keys
have Grover written on them also and the tremolo appears to be a diferent model but works well. A very nice guitar to play!!! I also have a trans red Axis which is killer but I'll get info for that guitar another time. Hope someone from EBMM can please help me and thanks in advance for any replies.
Aziah,
This morse guitar is blue burst color? I found this guitar a little more "green" than the tradititional blue burst.
Thank you!
Yes. The grain on poplar makes the blue look greenish. They're all like that, to varying degrees.
