Serial #?

Hello, I got a used Music Man StingRay 5 and would like to register it, however, I don't see a serial number anywhere. Where would this information be?

Register it how? Only the original person can register it for the warranty, which has almost certainly ended by now.

The serial number should be on the neck plate, stamped into the metal, unless it's a neck through version.

What's hilarious is, the instrument has NEVER been registered. So guess what, it's a brand new registration. Also, if it gets stolen, there's a record online now of who the owner is.
