Hi all I cannot find a serial number on my sabre bass, pre EB I assume, any ideas.
Hi all I cannot find a serial number on my sabre bass, pre EB I assume, any ideas.

On the bridge between the saddles and string anchors...very easy to miss...hidden by the strings...if it's a Pre-EB, the serial will look like "C00xxxx". If an early EB the serial will look like "Bxxxxxx".

If the serial is in chronological order, then it's a late 1979 Bass...perhaps October.

Thanks for that info. I havent got a digi cam so what i will do is take a normal pic and scan it, could be a while tho the film in my camera has been there since the boxing day motorcycle races, i really should finish the roll off.
