Yes. Since they first started making them in 1976.

If you're looking for a series pickup bass, try the Sterling or the Stingray 5.

2 pup stinrgray 5's and Sterlings are in series no matter what PUP position you've got selected.

im not 100% sure about the 20th SR5s. I know they have an "enhanced" series setting in position 2 on the single H's but im not positive on how the 2 PUPers are wired. FWIW, i think theyre parallel.
