Not even two months old and still has the fresh factory strings on it. Probably one of the best, if not the best trades I ever made. Have I mentioned how much I love SR5's, and Natural/Maple ones at that! Hats off EBMM, the neck is perfect!

Very nice Scott! SR5's are so classy looking! I can never walk buy mine with out stopping to admire it! And I have to give a big +1 on the necks. Best feeling 5 string neck around IMO.

Thanks folks. I traded an equally minty DJ5 for it. I have been an SR5 lover for sometime and am a huge fan of Natural Ash. I grew up in the 70's and a that is what a bass is supposed to look like to me. My first real player was a 1970 Fender Jazz that was Natural/Maple with black block inlays. The sound of ash and the snap of maple is the shizzle for me. Marcus Miller and Louis Johnson sealed my fate as a Natty lover I am afraid. This bass does it for me on so many levels. It just makes me want more and more of them.
