Hey guys and dolls.

I just wanted to start off by saying how crappy 2006 was for me. Blah blah blah, long story short; I am so glad it's over.

Onto the important part. I just feel like I owe all of the cool cats at EBMM the biggest thanks humanly possible. I don't know what I would have done had I not been able to wind out on my Silhouette Special. It puts the biggest smile on my face, and I simply cannot convey it any better than with the picture I've linked to.

So, here's the biggest thanks possible for making me the happiest person alive.

THANKS!

I'm with you 1000%. 2006 was not one of my better years. I made less money than the year before, my band broke up, Pepsi stopped making Pepsi Vanilla (this was huge for me) and one of my best friends died about 4 weeks ago.

BUT, I was blessed with a killer Rosewood Axis last year and I'm sure this year will bring at least one more MM to the house! I'm working on a new band already and good things are in store. Press on brothers!! To a new year!

2007 and now great it will be!

I had two friends pass away on me this year, one from self-inflicted narcotic use; the other completely out of nowhere. I was dumped two days before Christmas. I got fired from the best job I'd had to date two weeks before Christmas for reasons I'm still a little foggy on.

All of that aside, something that has been secretly waitingin the shadows every time I had a piss-poor day was my guitar. Never once was there a "I don't feel like being played today" or any number of other comments suggested. It's become my one and only. It waits patiently for me to come home and is always in tune and ready to rock and roll. I have yet to break a string on it (knock on wood) and have been playing it for at least two hours every day for the past five months or so.

My amp has been MIA because I lent it to a touring musician to take on the road for a week, so I've just been playing unplugged with the Sil. Spec. and it is everything I ever wanted. I was having some financial worries because when the Dargie Delight LUKE I ordered comes in, I was planning on trading in my Sil. Spec for it... that plan has since gone away completely. I am so enamored with the guitar that it will never leave my side. I've NEVER had that feeling before with a guitar. I've owned at least a dozen Fenders, a couple of Gibson and Epiphones, a PRS, and a few other guitars along the way. Not one has made me consider (and in fact accept) missing other bills to afford it.

THAT is the sign that I've been looking for. Cancel the phone, repo the car; do your absolute bloody worst (which 2006 managed to with flying colors...!) but don't you dare touch my BALLS!
