Quick tech question (I'm feeling guilty for all the non-EBMM threads and posts I've done);)
Anywho, I was wondering what the life of the new magnets in the Bongo pick-ups are like compared to other magnets and do you think we'll be seeing an industry shift to neo magnets in pick ups like we've seen in speakers???

ps. not that shelf life matters, but I might want my great great grandson to thump out some lines on my Bongo :p

Peter,

I have seen them and they are half the size of the ceramic magnets. The Neodynium technology is being used in a lot of microphones these days. I imagine they will hold up for years to come. Alnico's have been around and still working for 50 years or more. I'm sure the neo dynium will hold up.
