Alright, I know some Knuckleheads out there have been waiting on this. I just saw a Shell Pink Classic 'Ray at a local GC. Has the Birdseye maple neck, but it doesn't have a ton of Birdseye (if that makes sense?). Here's the best shot I could get with my phone:

I think that may be the Ivory that's exclusive to GC - your shot makes it look almost like buttercream. I've seen and played two of them, and while the necks aren't too fancy with the wood grain, they play exquisitely. Did you plug and play?

They had a vintage white, gone, but this one is shell pink. It even says so on the tag :) I didn't have time to play, but the others I played make me want one BAD!

There are a couple sprinkled out there. Contact Glen or Zombi to find out where if you are interested.

Looks like Shell Pink to me. Saw one at BPL - that one had a rosewood board and MHS, if I remember correctly. That right, Rex? (He bought it)

Nice pic, geez look at that thing ... that is an instance of class COOOOL.

Two weeks ago, I stopped at the factory to pick up a white pickup cover and I saw several finished basses through the window from the lobby.

I spotted Coral Red and Powder Blue (and maybe Shell Pink), but for me it would have to be the Mint Green with tort.

She's coming home to me. I broke down and had to have her. If there was ever a color I wanted the most in a Musicman Stingray this one is it. I should have her on Tuesday. Pics to follow. A big thanks to Bizmarckie. I would have never found her if it wasn't for his heads up.

You are quite welcome! :)Glad it's going to a fellow forumite, and Congrats! There's another classic of a different combo there that I'm very tempted by, but have to figure out how to get the funds. ;)

That doesn't look pink at all to me but I'm color blind on certain pastel colors. But the color that I do see looks like a darker butter cream and I like that a lot. :)

David, I can't wait to see it in person. Let me know when!!! :D

It better be shell pink or it's going back! I think the OP's camera didn't take a real good pic of the bass. We will find out on Tuesday. And yes you can check it out.

Must be the camera or lighting, but it looks buttercream-ish on my monitor.

I finally got to try out a white deluxe today. I thought about asking the GC person to track a shell pink one down for me to match my shell pink P bass, but I had to leave to finish errands.

I tried two of these. A black with the birdseye maple board and gloss finish and a white with an unfinished neck. Both played great. The gloss finish looks great but the unfinished neck was slicker (for lack of a better word) but I think you know what I mean. Both sounded great.

The guy I bought it from at G.C. in MO told me it was shell pink. I sent Dargin at customer service a pm from this forum asking for the where abouts of the shell pink ones but I never got a reply. I am a big shell pink fan and would definately buy another one if I could find one with a rosewood fingerboard. Heck I am in debt now what difference is a little more :)

Well, the 'label' says it's shell pink. :D

I would have thought you would have opted for the 5 string version.
