All of the vintage colors are great and would lend themsevles nicely to the EBMM line of basses, except maybe the Bongo.

I would like to see a nice Grafitti Yellow Stingray or even a Sherwood Green would be nice!!!

How about a limited edition line of "vintage colors"?

I am considering some pretty radical mods on my old beater 90 SR4...and one may be a custom paint job. Thinking of a vintage color..perhaps salmon or somthing therabouts...white pick guard. Other mods will include but not be limited to an additional pickup and swapping the original.. and gutting of the old preamp for something more state of the art. Possibly a Chrome Kahler or hip shot whammy (ya I know that's a bit over the top but if not overused can be very effective), I have used them before and have no issue with routing..my uncle has an amazing set of tools lol.

It is currently black/black/maple.

I will be sure to post pics upon completion...and please no one try to talk me out of it..I have no regard whatsoever with resale..this bass is a lifetime keeper and my main player. But in serious need of an overhaul..the only thing not damaged is the neck..and that neck is SWEET.

If you decide to gut the old preamp, I'll buy it *and* to sweeten the deal I'll give you a full set of brand new thumbscrews I've been sitting on. So keep me in mind.
I really like them old 2-bands.

I may consider it. It really depends on how far I go with the mods (I change my mind sometimes or don't have the money/time to do what I want).

However if I end up modding it to the "point of no return" I will absolutly sell you the orig preamp since restoring the bass itself back to original in the future would be too difficult anyhow.
