So I just got in the mail today the new MXR Modified Custom Badass OD pedal. Ive only played with it for a few minutes so far. I decided to make a quick demo of it using my Sony ICDPX312.

I really like this pedal so far. The 100K control and the Bump button are very cool features. Very warm and musical sounding pedal.

Anyway the for the demo I used my Ernie Ball Music Man Silo with the Andy Timmons in the bridge, Area 67 in the middle and the Liquifire in the neck. I ran the pedal straight into my Egnater Rebel 20 head with a T.C. Electronics M300 in the loop for some delay I kick in about halfway thru. Then out thru my Avatar 412 with Vintage 30s.

Egnater settings are....

Tube mix-12 oclock
Watts- 20
Master- 5 oclock
Treble- 3 oclock
Mids- 10 oclock
Bass- 3 oclock
Gain- 8 oclock

MXR M77

Output- 10 oclock
Tone- 10 oclock
Gain- 5 oclock
100HZ-10 oclock
Bump Switch- On

(excuse the playing, I wasn't warmed up at all when I did this )

Let me know what you guys think....

Sounds pretty warmed up to me dude.... I like the sound

Enjoyed it.... feels like it all works together well... Egnaters seem to have a real good feel.... never seen one in the flesh

Cheers Baz

Thanks bazxkr!

Wow over 70 views and 1 reply. Was it the tone or the playing that was bad?

Looks like I'm the only one who came to the party LOL Might have something to do with me looking in lunchtime at work (UK is 5hrs in front of you yankee doodle dandies - longer over on west coast) so maybe it is only about now most of the guys getting in from work so hope you have a bit more constructive comments tonight. Think most of the demos I seen thro Egnaters have been JPs
Nice to see a Silo getting an outing

Cheers
