Hi
Im thinking about swapping this 2000 Piezo Ltd

1.jpg

for a fretless stingray, trouble is I love all my basses and have built up a nice collection including 6 rays;

Question is do i need all fretted Ray? Should i swap for a very nice 96 natural fretless that would vary the collection? I don't really play fretless enough to buy it outright but this would make sense as a swap??????????:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Thanks

David

This must be the LE that Duarte was talking about. What makes it an LE?

It is Duarte i have been talking to. Regarding the LE side, Im not sure myself, I swapped it a few years ago from the original buyer. It is a piezo with a one piece body and the granite guard. It came with the LE case so i always accepted it was. I have no reason to think anyone would split up an LE with its LE case but you never know. Either way its a great bass.

Hey that is the one!

I was going to ask you but I thought it would be rude...I suppose asking others could be considered rude too!

Anyway man, I was just about to PM you on Basschat - the fretless has sold I'm afraid. It's BONGO time!

It's a small world, eh?:p

Well, it's a relatively small community of Music Man bass enthusiasts who use the 'is 'ere forums and 'at 'are forum.

I sold my 20th Anniversary Stingray last year. I notice you have one, it wouldn't happen to be the one I sold would it? (small world, and all that)(I was living in the UK at the time btw)

I don't think so, I bought it from a guy in Middlesborough in the North East of England, probably Oct/Nov time last year.

I think he owned it from new.
