The show last night at Lilburn Park in Lilburn, GA was a killer fun experience. There was probably around 400 people watching my group perform last night. Besides a very bad stage mix due to the fact that we didn't mic anything, the mix in the audience I hear was just about perfect. The band as a whole had a great performance. The stage we played on was really nice too and projected sound really well. It was built with funds that our vocalist raised by just by singing in Lilburn. The only thing that could have made the night better would have been if everyone got out of their lawn chairs and come to the front of the stage and dance like the kiddies did up front. I chose my '88 SR4 for the gig (I can't put that bass down...EVER), it has never let me down and i like the ability to use the series/parallel switching that I installed for different tones for different songs. I got so many compliments on my bass and playing last night and the exhileration of people liking what you are doing on stage is the best especially when the audience sings along when you want them to sing and claps when you want them to clap. It always ends too quick...the pics were taken by my friend Allison, some a little blurry and you can't see the drummer in the back, there were no lights back there...
