Thanx Razzle, it's a NAMM 2001 piece, it's called Fuchsia Sparkle. I was in a bidding war on Evilabay thru the CLB (Casey Lee Ball Foundation) and lost it in the last 30 seconds. I emailed the winner and told him that if he ever wanted to sell it to contact me. Well after a few months of emails, he decided to sell it to me for what he paid for it, though he neglected to tell me about the ding in it, but I didn't care, I got the guitar and will always have it.

The sparkles remind me of when I was a kid and that was the paint jobs that they used on the carnival rides. I would have gotten a Green Sparkle, but limited funds and not really needing another guitar didn't help.

Complex ... obviously the initial impression is a silverish sparkle, but blended into it one can see pinks, greens, blues, etc. I have not had it under stage lights yet (thank you Covid-19) but I suspect it will give some interesting/colorful effects under different colored lights ... probably more so than a plain silver metallic.

The Axis is not a sparkle, but it’s one of my favorite colors: Lavender Pearl. The neck has the most Birdseye that I have ever seen on a neck.

I only play Music Man guitars and basses, and my drummer says that the gold Albert cuts through the mix like no other. It is very resonant unplugged so I think it’s just a good piece of wood. The flamed neck is beautiful.

The Luke III has a solid rosewood neck. It originally had a roasted maple neck, but I traded necks with my friend, Mario. Then, I swapped out the pickups for these green Bare Knuckle Holy Diver pickups. The transition pickups are amazing, but they are not green. :D

I love to play out with the sparkles because they look amazing under stage lighting. They command attention.

Here are the back of the necks:
