How does the Double Albert sound compared to your old AL Kev? The top and the neck are just outstanding.

A bit hard to tell really. Definitely more sustain, as for tone, very similar I guess, but will really be able to tell when I gig it. I can't back to back it as I don't have my original any more. It does feel quite different to me , mainly down to the heavier weight. This obviously has the tone block and the tremolo bridge. It's by no means heavy but the difference is noticeable. I really do love it and can't wait till our next gig in 3 weeks. You're right, the birdseye is spectacular and the quilt is just beautiful. I am totally chuffed ;^)

Thats a nice BFR Kev, the tone woods in a BFR AL make a big difference to my ears, only SC guitar I ever got along with:cool:

OK people has to be more Al's out there, Rob, you not going to play:p:)
