I love the Mod 50 and Egnater's whole modular series. When I decide to get a new amp, I'll go that route, perhaps with an M4/power amp set-up with a t.c. electronics processor. I love the idea of a clean set-up like yours. Who knows? Maybe, I'll get a G-System or Nova System to keep it simple.

Here's my pedalboard....what seems to be a neverending change. I figure this is it but I've said that before. I'm running them into a Fender Super-Sonic Combo and Marhsall MG100HDFX half-stack which I plan to replace next.

I'll get some more photos up with my guitars, specifically my Music Man.

Tim,

I've noticed that you always run your Duoverbs on their sides. Is that to get the speaker up a little from the floor so you can hear it onstage ?

Yes sir, you are 100% correct. It means that when you turn up at a venue you don't have to worry about finding a crate or something to put your amp on. It also means on small stages your gear has a much smaller footprint, which is helpful if the stage is like a postage stamp!

The Mod 50 really intrigues me. If I go that route for my next amp to complement my Fender Super-Sonic, my next big questions would be which modules and which cabinet that I should go for. There are more than two that interest me. I'm really looking for versatility......something that can give me both sparkling cleans and loads of gain.

joe web wicked setup mate!!

thanx mate!

like john petrucci said to me, as i asked him, why he uses so much crap: "you know, i love gear and i like to push it further! (laughing)"

it´s the same with me. and after i tried a stereo setup the first time, i felt in love and won´t miss it anymore.
the dual recto is equiped with 6L6 and the roadster with EL34, so i get best of both worlds at the same time. and the mix of both tubetyps sounds awesome.
