Hey Kids
Only 40 of you diehards have signed up so far. I can't believe that there aren't 100 in california alone that wouldn't want to come. The sign up deadline is fast approaching.

for those of you who have signed up dont worry the show will go on, but wont be just forumites.

I really wish I could come - but it looks like my daughter will be getting married on or about that weekend.

I wonder if I could talk her into changing...

BP - I too have to offer my sincerest apologies. Its a long expensive journey. I wish I could but unless I sell both the SR4 and SR5 to fund the jaunt.
I wish you all the best for the day - and if there is a slight chance I going to be in your neck of the woods I will drop in. :)

BP - I too would like to have made the pilgrimage from the UK to California. It would have been such a brilliant opportunity to put faces to names, talk to the experts and see the factory.

I have the flyer miles so the air ticket is no problem however I am away on business from Sept 3rd until 15th and if, on the day after I return, I disappear off to sunny California for a jolly weekend it will be more than my life is worth. It's the right place, but for me it's the wrong time. Let's just hope that you do it again, but please never in September.

Even if you could get her to change the date, I can't believe you would have any money for the trip with the way most of these wedding extravaganzas are now. Especially being the father of the bride!

Dearest BP,

I truly appreciate this wonderful offer.

If I had the money and 'twas a little closer to home, you bet your a$$ I'd be there in a flash.

Have a great weekend please keep the gem-like stories & pix coming.

As it turns out , my wife has been planning a suprise Disney Land trip for the family (my Daughter Abigail 4 and son Coltrane 2) and it's during the week of the 12th to the 18th !!! And she's cool with me getting a car and driving up to SLO for one of the days BUT it looks like it might have to be the friday though.... any chance of a sneek peek of the factory BP?? but I am stoked that it's all worked out to actually make it to SLO!!!!!! :D

Joel,

See if you can get GC to pay for it! You can be their rep at the open house.. maybe they can write it off, it's business, after all!

I'm only half-joking. The worst they could say is 'no'.
