I discoved a good way to seal a Sharpie signature tonight. (keep in mind i tested this on my junk acoustic first)

i used a small art brush & Minwax fast dry clear polyeurothane, to seal Al's signatures on the back of the headstocks

it didnt make the sharpie run, it didnt dull the sig, and it matched the gloss of the EB finish. seemed to be the cat's meow

just wanted to pass that along to others who may want to do the same to theirs:):)

Thanks Brent - they look great - I'm glad you had them signed on the rear of the headstock instead of the trem plate, like you were first talking about.

looks AWESOME Brent!!!! Thats where i'll get AL to sign my AL's!

dude...Al is a great guy and will be happy to sing your guitars, i'm sure!!!...he was sssooo cool!!! i think he would have signed till the cows come home!!! he also signed all the ALs in the store...:eek:
