Steve Morse is directly responsible for my interest in Music Man Guitars. When I started buying them I really wanted a Steve Morse Model but I didn't know I would have to order one to get exactly what I wanted. The y2d is only my 2nd special order MM. I am thrilled that it's getting dressed up like it is. Even though the y2d is going to be awsome, the maple board piezo trem silo like Warg's is exactly the coolest guitar on the planet IMNSHO. Just like Petrucci says, "Steve Morse is my favorite guitar player. Nobody touches Steve."

*blah blah blah yada yada yada...I love steve morse...yada yada blah blah*

Yikes, maybe you shouldn't play mine, I'm afraid I might do something to it that would make it disappointing if you ever played/saw it in person!

Not to worry! As long as you don't Koogie your guitar we can fix it. More often than not, whenever someone plays one of my guitars the usual consensus is "wow". Not many people play my guitars but there has been occasion where someone says there is something they don't care for, and that's ok with me. I've set up my guitars to please me.
The moral is do what makes you happy. I would be happy to show you what I know. The good folks at EB are more than a great resource. They are the authority. There are great books on the subject and it's a lot of fun. Most of all it would be my honor to see your ax.
