Have a question about the silent circuit...actually this came up on the Seymour Duncan board. Is the silent circuit considered active? And how much does it factor into the tone of the MM-90s? Just curious.
The Silent Circuit does run off a 9 volt battery, but does not make the pickups active. If you remove the battery, the only difference you should notice would be a bit more noise from the pickups.
