Well, my new EBMM guitar search continues. Now I am considering the Silo, lol. Anyway, my question is this: Is there any way, shape, or form that I could order a Silo with a Petrucci bridge? I am looking for a versatile trem and the Petrucci is perfect for anything that I would do. Plus, the thing that really bugs me about vintage trems are those plastic tips. Number one, I think they make the bar look cheap, and number two it gets in the way and causes a bit of pain when doing flutters.

I beleive you can just take the tip off. If you plan on never using it, you can certainly find a way to remove it. Plus, you can set up vintage trem to float somewhat like JP trem. I belive Lukes come set up like that way from the factory. I would imagine tuning stability would suffer some as the result.

If set up right a vintage floating trem is very stable tuning wise if you have locking tuners and a good nut. All of which the EBMM's have!
