Congrats! Silo Special with HSS and piezo...if you can't do it with that axe, it ain't worth doing.

congratulations man! I have an SSS Silo' Special maple neck... The TRUE maple neck sound :) So much of it that sometimes it even feels like I can't find the use for all oft :))) Give it a 6 months and that baby's gonna sound even better :)

You'll love it! To me, the Silhouette Special is ergonomic perfection. I love the way mine feels and plays and it has the same configuration as yours but a different color.

There's really no manual needed - the outputs are very straightforward and the mix/tone controls are just that. I usually run mine with two separate cables - magnetics to an Axe-fx then direct to FOH and piezo to a di then direct to FOH. I've gotten pretty good at rolling the volume in/out for the mag/piezo controls. It's like second nature now.
