"Do you think my wife is going to notice ANOTHER black G&G case? Oh man......

BPS Answer...That's why God made gig bags!"

Love that reply.... I did great with my wife for the first few years of marriage as long as I had retangular tolex or skb style cases.... Wifey never paid attention to the guitars inside.... Until I got a Les Paul ... Yep, she noticed that one, the case didn't fit in my gear closet right.

Good thing I came to my senses and traded the Paul for a first year issue Morse!

Trend setter. You buy it new? Plenty of dedicated Morse fans found here. Some mothers can even play his music damn good...alas I'm not one. :(

Unfortunately, I didn't buy it new. A friend of mine worked at a music store and saw one at NAMM, bought one and I played it soon therafter.... Fell in deep lust for it, but alas he would not sell. About 96 he traded it in to the music store for something else and I IMMEDIATELY traded my Standard for it.

My buddy calls me every time he comes through town wanting to buy the Morse back, even offered me an early 70's Goldtop for it (I have a soft spot for Goldtops and Deluxes, but now know to disquise them in a gigbag!!)

I always reply... "If you really wanted it, you shouldn't have traded it in the first place!)

I'll get the Morse out of hiding someday for a Picture Day and post them.

BTW... I can't play any Morse Licks, just think he helped design the most tonally diverse guitar available. My local dealer offered to trade me a Y2D for it and I almost broke down, but haven't yet

So how are things progressing here in 'The Sale of the Purple SS' land?

Have you made an offer yet Dr Bob? If not I'm still here warming up on the subs bench.

Better do a few more stretches..........:D

Are you out there Dr. Bob? She's still for sale. Speak up and stake your claim if this is what you're after.

The LE Albert is calling my name!

Dr. Bob has spoken. Looks like he's pulling the trigger on this one. Good luck to the fellow forumites who were in line behind him. I hope you guys find a sweet silo that's to your liking. I like them all, but the call of the AL was too strong.

Thanks.

Just thought I'd publicly thank Wolfbone for his patience already on this one. Work commitments have prevented me from sorting out paying the man.
I'm back in the real world now and WILL be sorting out payment tomorrow.
So thanks again for your patience Wolfbone It's really been appreciated.

Oh and yes Bungo, of course you're more than welcome to have a go on the little beauty when it arrives

Dr Bob is the man. Payment arrived today! What a guy. Sail on. You'll love this guitar.

I'm sure all of my fellow U.K. forumites would agree that it's Wolfbone who's very much the man.

He's waited over 3 weeks for this deal to go down, and throughout it he's been nothing but helpful, positive, and patient. And as a result there's now a s**t hot purple Silo Special starting it's journey to the U.K. to join the EBMM fold this side of the pond.
And for a price that probably wouldn't get me a used SUB1 (Great guitars though they are) over here.

So here's to you Wolfbone, enjoy that AL.
