What I'd like to be able to do is take stereo out (separate piezo and magnetic) out of the guitar to the Ernie Ball pan/volume pedal. Then I could presumably select (or blend) between piezo and magnetics. What I was hoping I might be able to do is go from the EB pedal output to the looper input in mono (the piezo and magnetics summed into mono). Is that possible or will the pedal only do two separate outs?
Ok let's think.

One lead -Stereo out of the guitar. (For info purposes that goes into input B of the pedal)

The outputs are then split from the pedal (from outputs A and B of the pedal). One output will be the Piezo and one will be the magnetics (as i'm in work at the mo I can't remember off the top of my head which way around A & B is) The pedal will then depending on the toe switch position, pan between the two or increase /decrease the two together. I don't believe that the pedal will have that capability using a mono cable out.

I would suggest you pl Drewbixcubed and refer him back to this thread and see what he chips in with?

I'd think you could still use the EB VP for this, but wired backwards (since it's passive).

Two outputs from the guitar (or one stereo cable that splits to two mono plugs at the end), into the A & B pedal outputs. Plug the amp into the A (mono) input, in pan mode. Should pan between mags and piezo but give you a single output to the amp.

Spud, maybe you can give this a test at home later and see if it works?

Ok I can see where you are coming from now Beej - I'll do that. It's just after 2:00 pm gmt here. I should have an answer by 6:00 pm.

All Hail the Mighty 6165 Pedal!!!!

Yes Beej it works - plugging the guitar into the A + B Outputs of the Pedal, then running the one amp using a lead from Input A of the pedal, it will pan between the mag and piezo into the one amp.

Now to see if one stereo lead into the output of the pedal and driving the amp from Input A works?

Stereo Lead from guitar into Output B of the pedal
Mono lead from Input A of the pedal to the amp works too!!

Beej I wish I could "see" electricity like you !!

I think that I'll post a separate thread with all possibilities of the 6165 Pedal, so that it will come up in a search.
