Kev..tx for taking the walk on the wild side,and rewiring your sil sp.I only use the 1,2,5 positions on mine..the other 2 I find ,for my stuff,not really there.But the sounds coming from your demo are just what I*ve been wanting..saves me from the swapping pickup dilemna..can*t wait to do it.Cheers.

Yes, set just like the Luke, minor third pull up on the G-string

I have been inverted too long..I use 1,4,5 mostly,not 1,2,5..can*t wait for the fix.

I have just learned that the 5-way switch was updated in 2011. My diagram is based on my original switch (which was used from 1997 to 2011). That means that two of the terminal positions are different.

The older switch (as in my diagram above) had terminals arranged like this....

...notice that C5 and D5 are on the 'wrong' side, between the post and the COM terminal. The new switch is more logical...

If you have the newer switch don't follow the physical positions of the wires in my diagram, but you should still follow the wiring according to the terminal labels (e.g. Red to A1, B1, etc.).

Also remember that if you have pickups from different manufacturers, the colour codes for the will be different so you'll have to do some translation. Google humbucker color codes if you have any difficulty.
