hmm, not what I was told here awhile back.

Whomever advised was mostlikely incorrecto. I'm trying to see if I have the olllld (like 1995) that had the old grover/wilkinson outfitted version. I'm like 99% on that not being a PAF Pro...and if so it was pre 2000. I always remember seeing the slug/screw combo which IS NOT a Paf Pro...incidentally the Virtual PAF on the 24 fret Silo is a great pup tho. Probably may favorite DiMarzio outside of the ToneZone/Air Norton combo. Infact...I'd like to try the Virtual Hot PAF in the bridge of one of my Silos...

As for the Virtual PAF it's not that old so a change over in 2000 is incorrect. They started using the Virtual PAF on the standard silo (24) in 2004. I have one of them and it was a surprise when I opened the case and saw slugs instead of the allens. I was like BONUS! Woooo.

Dude I love the VPaf...it's great for some air in your chunk....good times. Tho' as in a previous post I might try a Virtual Hot PAF in my Sapphire Black silo to get some more oom pah pah in the bridge.
