This is probably a dumb question, but I want to disable/lock the tremolo on my Silhouette. I rarely use it, and it's a pain for me to tune with new strings. Any help would be appreciated.

just tighten up the screws that draw the claw that pulls the vibrato springs.......tighten them up till the claw is snug against the body wall....unless it's a floyd..which i'd doubt......

you can buy a tremblock, the sell them on musiciansfriend.com, it replaces the claw and springs with a solid piece fo steel, will add sustain as well-

wow I forgot, I used to own a luke with a floyd and I had it in there, I did purchase it at guitar center so I figured that M/F would have it, plus they have everything, it was a great little device, it added sustain as well I remember, try maybe doing a search, or try music123.com or walk into GC or sam ash if you have one near you, I am having a mind blank, I will post of I remember -
