Question Silhouette

Hi

I recently purchased a used silhouette. it's firemist red? Looks brand new to me so I'm sure it was made within the last couple years.

My question is about the pups. Are they Dimarzio Virtual PAF? I read that Dimarzio stopped making these so I'm surious.

Hi Silhouettered, and welcome to the forum!

We have a special serial number thread here on the forum (click here for the most recent page of it). Post your serial number there and ask for the original colour and date of birth.

I'm sure somebody else will be along soon to tell you about the pickups but I believe the humbuckers are virtual PAF or very close. I believe DiMarzio custom-make the single coils for Music Man so it's not out of the question that they continue making the humbuckers for them too, even if they are no longer available to the public. When you know the birthday of the guitar it might be easier to say for sure too.

And in case you didn't already know, your guitar doesn't exist without photos. It's a forum rule!
