Hi I'm Rick from the bass side. I had a credit at my Bass pusher so I got this Silo 30, great guitar. I had a pretty old Dimarzio Vintage Virtual in the drawer and happen to have the Silo out on a stand looked at both and I was off to modland. I got an Area 58 for the neck, the Virtual for the middle and a 36th Anniversary for the bridge. Then I had a Parchment guard cut for it. So since it was turning into a whole new guard assembly I got new CTS pots and a 5way megaswitch which is wired with the middle position as neck and bridge instead of just the middle pup solo and the rest is a regular 5 way.
Now it's a super Silo. I recently got a new Ray 35 and cracked up when I looked at the catalog and saw that the new Silo's have Dimarzio's.

I put the original whole barely used assembly on the sale page.

That Silo looks badass with the different pickups!! I had an old 80's strat copy laying around with a DiMarzio dual sounds in it. I put that in my Silo30 and the thing screams! I can play anything from solid blues, rock, metal, etc. on the thing now. Cleans up nice too. Really nice pickup for the guitar - especially since it has 250k pots which are perfect for the high output dualsounds.

Heck yeah on the cobalt 10s. I have been using them for a while and they are pure genius.
