First, I'll introduce myself, this being my first real post:
i'm 28, live in the Netherlands, and I've been playing guitar for about 20 years. A couple years back I got sick and sold every single piece of guitar-gear I had except my first electric guitar ever, a really really cheap Yamaha with a lot of sentimental value and a lot of fretwear. Now I'm doing ok again, and have bought a Roland VG-99 to get back in the game. But the guitar sucks. Played a couple of MM's in store the other day (Silo 20th and special, JP6 and a Luke) and couldn't believe how gawesome they play and how I missed that for all those years. Had almost all the big brands, a couple of boutique ones, but failed to discover the MM magic necks...Just completely awesome. Wich sucks cause now not much else will do...
Anyhow, my question: I'm really interested in an (will have to be) old Silo with the Floyd, but I wonder if the Roland GK3 hex-pickup will fit between the floyd and the bridge-pup. How much millimeters of space is there?
Anyone that knows? Thanx for any help!
