How does the neck on a Silo special compare to the Luke neck? Size and feel etc.

both are smallish, Luke has a nice V to it, some have mentioned their Luke has more of a v than others, but its pretty comfortable. I prefer the Silo neck, its a nice C. try and find a few to play, if you can, or just bite the bullet and get one. I would think the silo is the safer bet.

I have played the Luke neck, and really loved it. Was just wondering whether I would like the Silo neck just as much. Have to hgunt one out and try. Thanks very much for the info.

I love the Silo neck shape.just like the guitar is so easy get on with then so is the neck.
they also seem really consistent in size as well from the fair few I've owned/played.

Seriously though, my Silo necks are a God-send. It's like they were ergonomically created from and for my hand.
Doesn't mean I wouldn't love the Luke. I like the idea of V-necks, especially for bluesy stuff. The ones I've tried were just way too fat. Never tried a Luke, though... dang it.
