Hi Pete,

I bought a vintage cream s/h silo special ltd edition
(its number 28 of 30 made for 30th Anniv Music Ind of Cananda show in 2001 )

It was on e-bay, then withdrawn by seller who contacted me as I'd bid on number 19 of 30 and missed out on the sale.

really pleased with it - I have a few guitars and this is such a nice instrument to play.

Are you gigging in Leeds with any LCM bands ? - I'll come down and watch sometime if so.
My guitar teacher Graham Young is playing at Duck and Drake next weekend with his cover band - might go down to that.

I'm a big Jeff Beck / fusion fan mainly but play in a rock covers band as a bit of laugh with old school bandmates.

see you around.

I can't wait to get my Silhouette Special! It's just a couple of weeks away and the only question I have about it is whether owners kept the stock humbucker pickup or swapped it out with another, if so, what and why?

I put in a duncan distortion trembucker and now my silo special is a hard rock machine, I also had EB send me some axis style saddles and now my guitar is complete, I like the axis saddles way better than the vintage, they really should offer that as an option, oh well, but the duncan distortion is a high output tight pup and I can do everything from ac/dc to metal -
