Just like any professional instrument/tool/equipment, the Silo's don't have and don't need that cloud of fame and marketing dollars around them. They were designed by musicians for musicians and they are greatly appreciated by the owners of those guitars, who are often working musicians.
Besides that, it's pretty hard to find a used Silo' available for sale. People don't resell them. I was in market for one a year ago and I really couldn't find ANYTHING for 3 weeks on ebay, kijiji, craigslist... I ended up buying a brand new one, because I had no other option available to me. I knew one guy who owned a Silo' Special SSS Maple neck, and asked him if he can sell it to me - "no way" he said
))
What I like in EBMM in general is the fact that they're not trying to grow enormously huge and grasp all the market segments. Look, who owns MM's - Morse, Lukather, Lee, Petrucci, Van Halen etc.- all those guitarists are awesome players, they have that well-deserved popularity and they DO PLAY GUITAR. On another hand, look who's advertising few other makes - teenager punk bands, grunge bands, death-metal bands (yeah, lotsa gain helps hide the lack of technique), in other words those who are popular but can't play...
So let it be this way
) Let EBMM be played bu those who like music, not just show business
