What happened to this poor thing? Spray paint is my guess but Guitar Center is asking $1,199. That is a lot for a spray painted guitar.

Saw this the otherday, tempted to shoot them a few questions as to the quality of the paint. (I.E. Professionally done or Rustoleum) Definitely a candidate for resto.

I just can't imagine paying that much for a fine instrument and taking the Rustoleum(ThatsAgood1jay) to it. On a Squier sure, on a MM no.

It looks like the head of an old punk rocker from the 70s. Somehow I feel someone at GC without much knowledge was duped into believing that was a factory color, believe me it happens as I have seen guys score rare pieces from GC that they did not know were CS, LE or discontinued.

Yea, that's a shame since it looks like one of the early models as well. Looks like someone was under the influence of drugs and the horrible 80s style.

I'm all for modifying a guitar for your own tastes. I mean you gotta like your guitar right? Not everyone's taste is the same right?

But reselling that? Come on!!!
