It definitely has the older style tremolo. Can't tell if it's locking though.

Those old Schaller trems were "single locking" systems - they had rollers in the saddles and a string lock/clamp behind the nut. Although these are fulcrum trems they kind of work like the old Kahler trems - in fact, the strings don't go through the regular inertia block; each string has its own "mini-block" that moves up/down using the fine tuner screw.

Someone could get the serial number and post it for EBMM to look up and find out what was the original finish. Don't forget this is a relic from the mid-80s; remember that "crackle" and "marble" finishes were really popular back then.:cool::p
