Aah...but no where near as silly as a "black burst"....
Dark black to light black?* Typically comes out looking like a really good way to obscure an otherwise nice looking maple top!
I'm not a fan of black instruments (or fingerprint magnets as I call them) as it is but the "black burst" just gets too silly for words...see...I'm speechless...right now....I've got nothing....ughh...yep....nngggg....nothing....

If there's the option to have the ltd blackburst bass done with 6 strings, 25.5" scale length, tuned up an octave, 3x MM90 pickups, finished in MOG, martini glass inlays, and have something like....oh, I dunno....."Albert Lee" written on the headstock....well, then, I'd be signing up for one of those for sure!!!
If, on the other hand, you can have anything you'd like as long as it's a bass in blackburst (I can hardly bring myself to even type it! ) then....nope!
