How did the dargie come with a natural headstock? I thought they were all matching?

Dr. Kev

DD I could be ordered with any normal options much like the current PDN offering. The DD I was a kick ass paint color and inlays:)

So Keith, those are the changes you were telling me you were gonna do. Interesting.

The Dargie 1 (Martini Olive Green) was a color option (w/ black pickguard & rosewood board) that was available with matching/non-matching headstock. It came standard with Martini glass fretboard inlays & silk-screen logo by the neckplate. It was not offered on any guitars with binding.

The Dargie 2 (Carmel Apple Delight) was a package deal that came standard with matching headstock, ebony board, and oval pao & abalone inlays.

Funny the Dargies (1&2) and the Black Sugar are the only AL's that have had non-maple fret boards. I would love to see that offered once more some time. I love my Black Sugar AL HH, the Ebony is just so right on that guitar.

Yup, and that Dargie 1 AL was originally purchased from DuBaldo Music by me!!! I sold it to Keith in 2010 and I'm happy to see he gave it a great home. Seriously, these guitars are almost like pets...and whenever I sell one, I want it to go to someone who can appreciate it and take care of it. I'm glad Keith got this guitar.

Any chance you can do a demo on that AL90? It sure looks great. I would love to hear how it sounds!

You got that right, Glenn. White Al SSS with rosewood board......might be my ultimate guitar. I could easily be persuaded to go 3xMM90's as well.

Glen, 2006LE AL also had rosewood boards. Didn't Robelinda also get a 2007LE with a rosewood board? Don't forget AL HH.
