I've got my eyes on a Floyd equipped Silo but prefer a single coil over a humbucker for the bridge pickup. Would anybody know if there is a single coil pickup out there that would fit into the humbucker space on a Silhouette? Also would this end up sounding like a Silo Special or different because of the slightly different body and different spacing of the pickups? Thanks!

There are a few HB sized single coil sounding pickups. Bill Lawrence makes some great ones, I'm sure there are a zillion others too. They won't sound exactly the same, but you can get close.
As for woods, depends what the Silo was made of- there used to be a few different options.
This is an S/S/H Silo? If so, the neck pickup will also sound a little different as it's further back on the 24 fret Silo vs the 22 fret Special.
