That LE 5 HS you got a pic of was close enough to have my wife calling the sheriff. :)

They are some good looking Bongos.

Thanks for the pics you have taken Steve.

I couldn't resist, BP!! When I saw them close up at NAMM....whew.

Jack, you can fondle all you want after I have my way with her, which hopefully could be by this weekend's gig. :D

Of all the 06 LE's we ordered that would have been my personal choice as well but alas, I can't keep em all and at least with Ray I know I have a chance of getting it back in trade some day and that it's going to a good home.

Thanks, Scott. It is a sweet one indeed.

Chances are slim to none on this one, Steve! I love my MG but this one is even more sexy looking. Certainly will make me look better! :D

My voice isn't that of Ray Duke, but my single H gets it all done. I feel better hearing guys like Ray and BP touting the virtues. :)

the dummy that did it right

OK, made a deal w/Dude last night and I'm going for a CAR Bongo single H 5 string. I figured I needed one since I have the 4 string thing more than covered. It'll be just like Jack's (which I enjoyed playing a while back and thought it looked very cool).

Is there a EBMM name for that red color?

I told Jack last night that I haven't seen anyone playing a Bongo around DFW other than he and I and Mobay. I see GC selling them but I have yet to see anyone in a local band playing them besides us. I guess we'll continue to be enlightened. That single H is indeed my "secret weapon".

Yay! I originally order the Candy Red Bongo 5H from Dude, but I Pathdoc'd it towards a DD 5H. I'm glad it's going to a good home since I abandoned it for a ltd ed.

So, does this mean you'll have the MD 4H, the Ltd Ed Black/gold 4H AND the Candy Red 5H?
