Siverburst Ray 34 Attn Pat Park

I have in my hand a glossy flyer for Sterling by Musicman 2010 Limited Edition Instruments which I picked up at the Strings and Things/EBMM UK/Absolute Music event last week.

It includes the siverburst Ray 34 - suggesting it's available to order now

Is this correct, and can anyone give an idea on likely lead times for delivery for one of these?

(PS there are also LE colours shown for skinny stringed instruments).

Hi Mate.
Have you looked on line to see if its out yet? Ive seen a few website showing its in stock.

EDIT: Apparently (and its just what ive read) there are only 12 of these coming to the UK.

Yes you're right - I just checked some sites and there appear to be some in stock in the UK already.

Not sure it's a secret as they have been in stock for a while. I was going to get one bit begrudge paying more just for the finish. Same with the natural one, although that's not too much more than the black.
If they did the silverburst I'm a ray35 I might be tempted.

Saw/played one of these at GC today. Very cool. Glad to see it's available, saw the proto at the BPL show. The site does confirm that they're available (in limited numbers) for 2010. Great basses at a stellar price.

Its not that heavy.
It does have a swamp ash body and my bath rooom scale has mine right under 9lbs.
