Will there ever be such a thing? I love my Bongo but would love it even more if the neck width was narrower, like a Sterling, SLO Stingray or Caprice. Any chance it could happen?

Swapping another musicman neck wouldn't work as the Bongo has 24 frets plus the neck pockets are different right? Anyone ever make or mod a bongo neck?

I agree, the neck on my bongo 5 was the most comfortable neck I have ever played on. Very close to my sterling 5 with a little more radius.

On the 4 string the Bongo has the same width neck as the Stingray at 1 5/8". The Sterling and Caprice are 1 1/2" at the nut. I like the Caprice neck most of all. I love the Bongo but after playing the Caprice I might switch just for its neck.
