Changing the PG on my Teal S.U.B. revealed this gem:

I thought it was pretty cool as I'm pretty certain that's the first time this plate's been lifted. SLO havin a bit of fun?

Oh that's a must. Already purchased a flat black one.

And that's not all. I was a little misleading in the OP. I also fashioned arm and belly contours (using my NAMM SR as a guide)...

That ebony stain does wonders - I've used it on 2 RW basses with great results . . . super durable too.

I used a purple colored stain by minwax on my sub 5. It turned it from light brown to dark rosewood. Night and day difference. If they only had a roasted maple stain. :p
