SM with Floyd...

Ok.. I am trying to work out a deal for a SM (WHY DID I SELL MY OTHER ONE?!!!!) with a floyd rose. I have never had a guitar with one as I do not do alot of dives. For those who have a floyd what are you thoughts on the SM?

Are you talking about a Y2D? If so, I had one with a Floyd. I sold it because I was into stop-tails more. I wish I never sold it. Fantastic Floyd

Played one a few months ago, it was fantastic , I'm not a huge fan of floyds anymore , (I'm just getting old!) but it just really suits the SM, and those pickups are just killer,

Fantastic guitar and neck, and the floyd works great.

Keep an eye out because the newer ones have a cavity allowing pull-ups whereas the old ones are dive only (and there's a lot of them still floating around new).

In as much as I love my Y2D and it works great for pull-ups and bombs etc - I do often think how incredible a Y2D would be with a standard music man trem!!!!
