My guitar player never gets tired of making fun of my Bongos. Those of you who own them have heard it all, from the toilet seat comments to the "it's made of basswood???" and then some. Then today I get this in my email... definitely good for a laugh (as it is a legitimate ad). Needless to say he had a couple of his own comments attached, but I think this gets the point across.

Jon, you've got to talk to the boys in marketing... I think we're on to something :D

Funny, I happen to be one of the smart @ss guitar players out there that also happens to own a bongo. I own EBMM JP's and they are all made out of basswood. My question to the "critics" is this.....where is your signature model guitar? I believe all the sig models are made from basswood and they seem to have awesome tone to me. I mean, JP has some killer tone and his guitars are just plain awesome. So, I feel for ya, and I have heard all the comments myself. I like the ad.......makes me feel kinda funny inside.....hhehehehehe....

Funny, we use a bongo or as others put it "the toilet seat", yet, other basses seem to go down the drain more so than my bongo.....that means that they must be (reall sh***y).........hmmmmmmm....coincidence?!?!? ;)

While I am all for including Rachel with the purchase of a Bongo, just think of how long we had to wait for EBMM to make a case to fit them... With all of Rachel's curves we'd have to wait forever for them to make a case so we could take her along to gigs :D

Everyone who ever loved the Bong' at first sight will have the right to spend an evening (and more if she's OK) with Rachel : first on the list !
Those who were making fun about Bong' will have a free ticket for "Nocturnal Crucifiction" first show (with "Grotestque Impalement" as guest) !
