Rob please stop hijackng and beating a dead horse on every 25th thread. the al vs the 25th...they are different...John Mayer thinks the single sound is fabulous....different...We didnt try to repackage an Albert Lee...I never said it was better than the ALBERT...It does way more than the Albert ...thats for sure...Play one and then I will respect your opinions but until you do you have made that point about a half dozen times.

Great vid Mike. Another good demo showing off the 25th. From the number of posts and threads I've seen from you lately, it sure seems you're having a "Ball" hehehe.

The 25th is definitely a players' guitar. Super versatile. If I could only take one guitar to a gig, it would be my 25th.

Even the series thing on the Petrucci's makes such a huge difference (and with the old pickups, I cannot tell how that is a bit different than the 4th position on a Strat)... with this guitar being able to do that on any pickup... getting close to pretty much the ultimate studio guitar right there. From what I've seen, if it was 24 frets, it would be THE jack of all trades guitar for me.

There is one in Amarillo's guitar center... I so wanted to take it home and try it through my rig. lol That and the MD JP6 they have... it's about time they got some MMs in that store. I just wish I had the cash to buy them to help keep them stocked there... lol

Hey smelly

I think it sounds great. How do you get on with the Hot Rod Deluxe as I have just picked one of these up for gigging. Used it on Sunday and was blown away by the volume but with the Axis it just sounded great, really cut through the mix.

PS. this is my view...not as hilly but then thats the Midlands for you :)
