Soon I'll be calling BC myself to put a deposit down on one of these basses; first, I just need to decide which one I want. :D

By the way, I don't know if anyone has asked this yet, but are they bringing back the martini-glass inlays, or is what's pictured the final design? (To MM: Sorry that I'm contributing to all these questions so early -- I'm just very excited!)

The second pic down on the first page of this thread shows a concentric oval of pearl and abalone....I haven't seen anything specifically discussing the inlays officially yet though.....but none of the details are officially out there yet either.

The original martini glass is cool and all but I prefer the ovals on the ebony neck....honestly, I'd prefer no inlay on the ebony neck but that's probably not gonna be an option.

Of course, you will. The assertion of your manhood requires you to purchase one of these instruments.

No woman on this earth can keep a man from his fetishistic pursuits of high-quality bass guitars. :D If only I had known that six years ago....

Wow, this could be the greatest finish to ever be sprayed on a Music Man instrument. Can you image what this will look like on the Bongo with all the curves- sexy!!!

"EBMM - Sowing seeds of marital discord all over the world..."

How's THAT for the new product tagline...based upon many of the comments here, it would appear that marriage counselors are going to be BUSY, BUSY, BUSY over the next several months....

And many bass players are going to be rushing to Craigslist and eBay to provide resources for their new babies....

Looks like EBMM is contributing to the economic stimulus package by stimulating DEMAND...(or was that De MEN???)

Seriously, SWEET looking gear!!! I second whoever it was that mentioned the blue/purple magic changing paint scheme....

I know the flamethrowers will be turned up high on this one, but I was going "eww" at the tuning knobs and the wimpy looking tuning machines...

Me likey the 3 leaf-style better....maybe they're using the kinda bugly ones to focus your attention on the schweeet color scheme instead....(ya THINK????)
