Why wouldn't they come with Ebony later on? The Koa BFR's have been standard production models for a while and have Ebony boards, as well as the stealth models that now have Ebony boards.

See my post above. I misunderstood, I thought that only koas and DDs have ebony fretboards. I originally thought that it would be great if BFR's could come with ebony fretboards as I've been liking it a lot more lately than rosewood. Much more smoother and better feel.

They are both great. With a mahogany neck I would prefer an ebony fretboard. With maple neck, probably a rosewood fretboard. With an all rosewood neck I would prefer . . . . For the JPX with the Mahogany neck and larger frets, ebony should be awesome.

To each, his own. I just feel that I enjoy playing more and can do technical stuff easier with a fast fretboard like ebony. I didn't think it was that special before I tried it again. Then it hit to me, I love it. That's one of the main reasons for me to get JPX (There's many other reasons as well! To me this guitar seems like a perfect package). I like rosewood as well, but just not as much. Anyways, I don't want this to turn into an ebony vs. rosewood thread. You can make a new one for that.

and the not so joke going around these forums is you're a tool, seriously dude your still butthurt about a couple threads weeks ago, do you really have to muck up every thread posted, I havent said anything to you but you are getting to the point where if I saw you in person id probably want to punch you in the face,I want to read about a guitar not some ones spewing of drival that he would never actually say to the CEO's face, how about you write a decent song post it here and we will all bash it "just because we can"; just my opinion now so theres no reason to get mad at me based off your logic.(sorry I had to say this in such a positive thread but this guy is just going to far and no one is really saying anything, like his smartass comments in the Hiland thread, shut up man it was still uncalled for YOU to make the official welcome to EBMM the day after he left PRS!)

But, with all seriousness. I never said that, or initially ever thought that. But, just the fact that I've seen it pop up on quite a few forums...that's all. Dannymusic made the observation and I just happen to understand why he did, being as though I've heard that a lot already.

I really never thought it myself, until someone posted an pic on another forum of an Ibanez that has a couple of similarities in looks. And, even then...I still think the JPX has it's own integrity.

So, sorry if I offended you or anyone else here with my comment.

Well if my attack on him gets the thread locked i will find it slightly ironic considering how many times he has already derailed this thread and he always tries to play it off like the victim,it was a rebuttle to a pretty insulting comment imo, BP played it off smoothly unlike me...how many times has he said "lets let the thread continue" as if it wasnt his fault in the first place; and I dont care if you reported me crimson I dont take back anything I said, you just cant handle your own medicine and no one has had the guts to give you a dose.
