Again...cool axe and if JP likes it that is really what matters. I like the look of it and would be very interested to play one to see the differences.

Well from what I've been reading and seeing it's quite the opposite with the 2010 Ibanez models. Sure as hell look like they're going in the JP route with their RG designs.

The more and more I look at the JPX, the more I dig it. I'm keen on everything but the 5 way. However, I may just have to bite the bullet and add one of these to my arsenal. Can't wait to see some pics of it from NAMM and find out how much they'll be going for.

Although I love the concept, I wasn't crazy about the color until I read JP's description of it. It sounds awesome! This could very well be my first new EBMM in 2 years (finances having been the key issue). Woohoo!

I think it is more purple with black in a black sparkle with a purple tint coat.

I'm wondering myself, Phil. From the description I thought it would be something like a black base and very subtle purple pearl or sparkle. Wonderdogs description is good too. Either way, I'm sure it's going to look really good.
