I love it. I prefer the 3 way (seems faster to switch on the fly), but the tonal options will make up for that.

The answer to that would most likely be no. Sterling said that the regular JP's and BFR JP's will still be made and that this will be an addition to the lineup.

I dig the color. Don't know if I said this before, but it looks like the purple from Mystic Dream, just a little darker. The black hardware DEFINITELY compliments it.

I'm most interested in what the chambering does to the tone.

I'm liking the JPX. No radical departure in looks and style, but a nice turbocharge on tone. Bigger, chambered body, 5 way selector, this new Pet is gonna be a tone monster.
