So close to a Morse Y2D

Guitar Center in New Orleans had a used one for $750 after a price drop but wouldn't let me put it on layaway because their room was full (and I'm in CA and couldn't pick it up in person) Horrible policy!! I used to work for GC and couldn't believe that new "rule" and it's absurd.

$750 seems a bit low for a Y2D, Even used. Was there something wrong with it? If your bashing GC. Your in the wrong place.

Wasn't bashing GC. I'm a former Ops Mgr there. I was bashing the unwillingness to work with someone over the phone.
There didn't seem to be anything wrong with it based on info I was given.

I think there was another forumite that was trying to get that one, but ended up that it has a totally twisted neck.

I think that the one with the twisted neck was from a Guitar Center somewhere in Texas? It was also missing the case (I had called about purchasing it back in September some time). I actually just ordered a Y2D Purple Sunset with the matching headstock yesterday, and it should be here Wednesday so I'm anxiously awaiting!

I've had a JP XI for 3 days and I'm eyeing the Morse. Maybe I have a problem too

I have never bought any guitars from GC, but it seems like each store is run differently from place to place.
