After having missed the Dallas shindig (I was here with my brand new little boy, so I'm not complaining ), I'm ready to see who is interested in getting together in Raleigh, NC for some good jammin' and some brews. It would be close to impossible to put together such an amazing weekend as it seems to have been in Dallas, so let's just say this will be a different kind of EB fan gathering.

I have my music academy's main hall (seats about 65) with a fully outfitted soundstage, so the place to jam and hang out is taken care of. I guess the main thing for me to try to do first is establish a date. Right now, I'm thinking about March or April to give everybody plenty of time to plan and save for travel etc. This is all very, very preliminary but it's worth seeing who is interested, especially given the recent excitement in Dallas. I'll certainly do my part to keep the EB ball rolling. Thoughts are appreciated....

what i know from my TCM friends, raleigh and NC at all is a great area for music and jams. i am heading NC next year and wanna see flying saucer and all those cool places there (and all the cool small luthiers also if thats allowed to mention here....)...

Paul, firstly, congratulations on the little one. I've got a boy and two princesses so I know how happy you are.

Secondly, I know you brought this up before and I'll definitely be there so as soon as there is a date, I'll mark it on the calendar. It'll be great to meet some of the members of this forum.
